From prizewinning journalist and immigration expert Alfredo Corchado, Homelands: Four Friends, Two Countries, and the Fate of the Great Mexican-American Migration tells the sweeping story of the great Mexican migration from the late 1980s to today. Laura Wides-Muñoz’s The Making of a Dream: How a group of young undocumented immigrants helped change what it means to be American examines the issue of undocumented “Dreamers” who came to the US as children and are reshaping immigration policy in the US. Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Jose Antonio Vargas, called “the most famous undocumented immigrant in America,” tackles one of the defining issues of our time in Dear America: Notes of an Undocumented Citizen.
