Gary Monroe’s biography, E.G. Barnhill: Florida Photographer, Adventurer, Entrepreneur, showcases a little-known artist whose inventive techniques—particularly his uranium-dye coloring—merit a place in the story of American photography. In George Merrick, Son of the South Wind: Visionary Creator of Coral Gables, Arva Parks presents the remarkable true story of George Merrick and of one of the nation’s most iconic planned cities. In Miami: Real and Imagined, long-time Miamian Hank Klein brings his vision and imagination to more than 200 colorful Miami scenes, inviting readers to view the same subject matter in two ways―one as a traditional photograph and one reinterpreted with color, texture, and cropping.
