Miami in My Own Words With GOGO MOAD

Kids compose unique text expressions or poems about Miami, starting with a template that includes the inscription “Miami in My Own Words” in English, Spanish, or Haitian Creole. Using the provided frame, text, letter stencils, rulers, markers, and imagination, families will create their own framed text art relating to the place we call home!

This project is inspired by Estuary [Pavilion for MOAD], a piece created by multidisciplinary artist Rafael Domenech, commissioned by MOAD and presented at Miami Book Fair. Be sure to visit this installation located just off Children’s Alley and Kyriakides Plaza.
