In Troublemaker for Justice, Walter Naegle traces the life of Bayard Rustin was a major figure in the Civil Rights movement—arrested on a bus 13 years before Rosa Parks, mentor to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., organizer for the March on Washington. In One Person, No Vote, Carol Anderson chronicles the 2013 Supreme Court decision that eviscerated the Voting Rights act of 1965 and discriminated against African American participation in the vote.…
