Poetry Dance THE MAKING OF “SURYA: THE ETERNAL RHYTHM”
Internationally acclaimed Indian dancer Ranjana Warier, and Adrian Castro, lauded as one of the most important poets of his generation, together translate poetry into movement. “Surya: The Eternal Rhythm” is a vibrant visualization of Afro-Caribbean poetry through Indian dance. Artistic conversation to follow performance by dancers from Warier’s Rhythms School of Dance. Original choreography by Warier based on Castro’s poems.
