Tom DeMarchi teaches at Florida Gulf Coast University. He is the Director of the annual Sanibel Island Writer’s Conference. His work has appeared in the Writer’s Chronicle, the Miami Herald, Quick Fiction, the Pinch, Gulfshore Life, the Southeast Review, and other publications. Because of his haircut and monochromatic fashion sense, he is often mistaken for a police officer. Möbius Strips and Other Stories (Rain Chain Press) collects the best of Tom DeMarchi’s short and flash fiction across two decades. Stories in the collection were previously published in Flash! Writing the Very Short Story, Cheap Pop, the Miami Herald, and elsewhere. These stories pack a punch, and are accompanied by “twictions”, fiction in forty words or less.
