(Mazur, Paula) Paula Mazur is an award-winning producer whose work is derived almost solely from literary source material. She has taken numerous plays from stage to screen including The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe and The Vagina Monologues. She also produced Corrina, Corrina, starring Whoopi Goldberg and Nim’s Island, starring Jodie Foster, Gerard Butler, and Abigail Breslin. Mazur is now partnered with Miami bookseller Mitchell Kaplan in The Mazur/Kaplan Company, which has produced The Man Who Invented Christmas, set to be released worldwide Thanksgiving weekend, 2017. The movie is directed by Bharat Nalluri and stars Dan Stevens and Academy Award-winner Christopher Plummer. Mazur/Kaplan’s upcoming projects include The Silent Wife, starring Nicole Kidman, and All the Bright Places, starring Elle Fanning.
