(Connors, Michael) Michael Connors, PhD. is an art historian and expert in Caribbean antiques and architecture. He has over thirty years of experience in writing, consultation, and teaching in the fine and decorative arts. Connors has written eleven successful books on the Caribbean and he continues to be a key resource to private collectors, designers, dealers, and museums looking for absolute integrity in European, American, and Colonial West Indian fine and decorative arts. He is a consultant for an international list of architects and interior designers and is a frequent lecturer at museums, educational, and retail institutions. Dr. Connors continues to lead art and architecture tours in Cuba. His latest book, Cuba: 101 Beautiful and Nostalgic Places to Visit (Rizzoli), presents the breadth of the island’s most intriguing destinations and architectural treasures.
