LIN KING is a writer and translator based in New York and Taipei, Taiwan. Her writing has appeared in One Story, Boston Review, and Joyland, among other publications, and has received the PEN/Robert J. Dau Short Story Prize for Emerging Writers. Her translations from Mandarin and Japanese into English include The Boy from Clearwater (Levine Querido) by Yu Pei-Yun and Zhou Jian-Xin, a graphic novel series on the true story of a Taiwanese former political prisoner; the dystopian novella Cloud Labour (Strangers Press) by Sabrina Huang; and Yáng Shuang-zi’s queer historical novel, Taiwan Travelogue (Graywolf Press).
