(Daniels, Don) Don Daniels is an Award winning poet, author and playwright Don Daniels is five-time past President of both the South Florida Writers Association and the South Florida Chapter of the National Writers Association. He leads their longest running fiction critique group, and is an experienced contest judge, organizer and coordinator of several national writing contests, pioneering the concept of gift certificates for entries to writing contests, enabling family members, teachers and other mentors to give “the gift of confidence” to encourage those emerging but shy writers we meet in our travels. His book, Rhyme and Punishment is a witty collection of poetry based on strange news stories collected from around the world. He is currently working on a historical novel and a non-fiction book.
