Enrique Fernandez is a bilingual writer and editor. He has been a columnist at Billboard, the Village Voice, the New York Daily News, USA Weekend, and the Sun-Sentinel, as well as the editor of Billboard en Español, Más, and Éxito. He was the Senior Vice President/Executive Director of the Latin Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences and the Features Editor of the Miami Herald. He has written for The New York Times, Condé Nast Traveler and Smithsonian Magazine, among others, and penned liner notes for Tito Puente, Los Van Van, Chico O’Farrill and Astor Piazzolla.
