Olivia S. Benson is an attorney who has practiced law in South Florida for over twenty years. Born in the Republic of Panama, Olivia experienced a unique blend of cultural and religious influences that compelled her to contemplate life, and its meaning from an early age.
She grew-up in worlds full of contradiction: as a child in Panama, she was a practicing Jehovah’s Witness who attended Catholic primary and secondary schools. When she moved to the U.S., she continued in the Jehovah’s Witness religion while attending a conservative, fundamentalist, Christian high school. By the time she was 30, she sought to resolve the ironies and contradictions she had observed in life on her own terms, and to find answers that surpassed the things her religious exposure had taught her. So began her study of metaphysics. As a practicing metaphysician, she has studied under some of the great teachers of the New Thought movement, and has been affiliated with a number of New Thought organizations, including the Universal Foundation for Better Living, and Agape International Spiritual Center. Answers From Within, is her first book. In it she examines common questions and concerns about work-life, as well as, the answers revealed to her during periods of study and contemplation.
