“Artificial Intelligence in the Arts: Empowering Writers, Content Creators, and Businesses in the Digital Age” features an exceptional lineup of panelists: Dan Grech, founder and CEO of BizHack, who brings a wealth of knowledge in digital marketing; Carelia Alvarado from The Online Bridge, renowned for her insights into the intersection of technology and education; and Yaddyra Peralta from Mango Publishing, who offers a unique perspective on the ethical considerations of AI in publishing. Together, they’ll explore the revolutionary impact of AI across creative industries, focusing on its potential to enhance artistic expression and business strategies. This panel promises a deep dive into how AI technology is shaping the future of creativity and commerce, especially within the Haitian community. With an introduction by L’Union Suite, a central hub for connecting and informing the global Haitian community.

Simultaneous interpretation in Haitian Creole will be available to ensure an inclusive experience for all attendees.

 

DAN GRECH is the founder and CEO of BizHack Academy, where he combines his expertise in journalism and digital marketing to offer transformative courses for small businesses. With a rich background that includes working as a journalist for the Miami Herald and serving as the news director at WLRN, NPR’s Miami station, Grech has accumulated more than 200 awards for his contributions to journalism. His career took a pivotal turn when he left journalism and propelled into digital marketing. Grech’s self-taught digital marketing skills eventually informed the Lead Building System, a simplified approach to digital marketing that he shares through his teaching at Miami Dade College. This system has been a game-changer for more than a thousand businesses, enabling them to achieve significant returns on ad spending. Grech’s journey from journalism to digital marketing underscores his commitment to education, storytelling, and empowering businesses with the tools for success.

CARELIA ALVARADO, founder of The Online Bridge, is a luminary in digital marketing and artificial intelligence, with a robust academic background in advertising and specializations in digital Infoproducts and marketing. Her career spans corporate and consultancy work, emphasizing the Latin American and Hispanic markets in the U.S. The Online Bridge stands out for its AI-driven marketing strategies, and making complex technologies accessible to businesses and entrepreneurs. Alvarado’s practical education approach has empowered hundreds, earning her a 2023 BizHacker Award for her innovative and comprehensive market insights. As a mother and technology enthusiast, she balances her career with a rich family life, and looks forward to launching an AI program for digital marketing and writing a book in Spanish, aiming to empower Latino professionals with AI-centric, human-focused marketing strategies.

YADDYRA PERALTA, born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, and raised in Miami, is a poet and educator whose work bridges her Honduran heritage and American upbringing. Her literary journey began early, inspired by her introduction to haiku in Miami, which propelled her to pursue poetry in New York City and later at Florida International University, where she earned her MFA in poetry. Peralta’s contributions to poetry have been recognized in such notable anthologies as Eight Miami Poets, The Breakbeat Poets Vol. 4: LatiNext, and Home in Florida: Latinx Writers and the Literature of Uprootedness. Her work, celebrated for its exploration of Latinx identities and immigrant experiences, has appeared in prestigious publications such as BOMB, The Florida Review, and the Miami Herald. As the director of people development at Mango Publishing and a dedicated educator, Peralta has impacted many through her teaching and writing, earning her the 2023 Marjory Stoneman Douglas Poetry Award from O, Miami.
