In ARMANDO CORREA‘s The Night Travelers: A Novel, four generations of women experience love, loss, war, and hope from the rise of Nazism and the Cuban Revolution to the fall of the Berlin Wall. JOSH TUININGA’s graphic novel We Are Not Strangers follows a young boy as he learns of his Jewish grandfather’s allyship for Japanese families during the incarceration camps of World War II. And in ALICE WINN’s Memoriam: A Novel, two young men enlist during WWI and fall in love while surrounded by the grim reality of death. Journalist and author MIRTA OJITO will moderate this conversation.
