LOOKING OUTWARD, SEEING WITHIN: THREE MEMOIRS

A full-time book publicist and part-time writer, AMELIA POSSANZA currently lives in Brooklyn, New York, with her cat. Her work has appeared in The Washington Post, BuzzFeed, Electric Literature, The Millions, and NPR’s Invisibilia. Lesbian Love Story: A Memoir in Archives is her first book.

ANNE HULL is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist who spent nearly two decades as a reporter at The Washington Post. She is a fifth-generation Floridian who started her newspaper career at the St. Petersburg Times, now known as the Tampa Bay Times. Through the Groves: A Memoir (Henry Holt and Co.) follows Hull's life growing up in rural Central Florida.

CURTIS S. CHIN is a former network TV writer and an award-winning filmmaker and activist who has been recognized by ABC/Disney Television, the New York Foundation for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts, and more. Since leaving TV to transition to social justice documentaries, he has screened his films at more than 600 venues in 16 countries. He has written for CNN, Bon Appétit, and the Boston Globe's Emancipator, and is a co-founder and the first executive director of the Asian American Writers' Workshop in New York City. His debut book is Everything I Learned, I Learned in a Chinese Restaurant: A Memoir (Little, Brown and Company).

ELLA JACOBSON is Miami Book Fair’s Emerging Writer Fellow in nonfiction. She is a cultural critic and writer originally from interior Alaska. Her writing has appeared in Slate, The Drift, The Guardian, The Los Angeles Review of Books blog, High Country News, and Real Life, among other publications. Much of her work explores how people metabolize their exposure to violence and death. She holds a masters in cultural reporting and criticism from the Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute at New York University, and she is the recipient of residencies and support from Edith Wharton House, Straw Dog Writers Guild, Monson Arts, I-Park Foundation, Good Hart, and the Ora Lerman Charitable Trust Foundation.
