Lip Service presents: Storypalooza!, The “I Got Miamied” Edition

Miami means a lot. It has also DONE a lot. Ever been surprised, humiliated, inspired, repulsed, turned on, spat out, dumped on, burned, or bummed out by The Magic City? Guess what? You’ve been Miamied! On Saturday, September 10 (during Downtown Miami ArtDays) Miami becomes a verb. Come to Storypalooza! with a true, personal story set in and about Miami (stories should be written, 500 words-4 minutes, max). Drop your story in a hat and you might be selected to tell it in front of a live audience and get feedback from an expert editorial panel (Lip Service co-producers Nick Garnett & Esther Martinez, and Lip Service founder and producer of the podcast Writing Class Radio, Andrea Askowitz), in time to submit to the next Lip Service stage show at Miami Book Fair!
