PT Driver (Read to Learn Books for Free)

The Part-Time Driver travels daily throughout the county for deliveries and pickups.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Delivers to locations throughout Miami Dade County
  • Process all deliveries and pickups in the office
  • Maintain records for deliveries and pickups
  • Assist with coordination of special events for the program
  • Assist in the maintenance and operations of the grant
  • Performs other duties as assigned

PT Administrative Coordinator (Read to Learn Books for Free)

The Part-Time Administrative Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the planning, directing, and supervising all Children’s Trust grant activities within the department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains volunteer database, provides hands-on volunteer recruitment, trains volunteers, and keeps track of volunteer assignments
  • Keeps close contact with volunteers in the field specifically related to Adopt-A-Book plans
  • Assures that books are being sorted correctly, deposing of any books that does not meet project criteria
  • Responds to queries related to community involvement in book drives and helps initiates and establish relationships
  • Coordinates ongoing, close monitoring of book drive collection site to ensure timely pickup and delivery
  • Creates an environment to ensure daily participation and attendance by kids
  • Ensures data is collected and inputted daily for Children’s Trust records
  • Ensures that all items are prepared and ready for the monitoring report
  • Performs other duties as assigned
