This activity offers a broad cultural experience for the whole family. The initial segment introduces the traditional Haitian game of oslè (“osselets”), engaging participants with its cultural heritage and skill-building play. Our instructor, Dr. Suzie Richardson Armas, then transitions to dominos, fostering strategic thinking and social bonding. For younger attendees, we’ve added a section on educational puzzles featuring significant Haitian historical sites and figures, providing a tactile way for children to connect with their heritage. Presented by Game Time Ayiti, this expanded workshop blends fun with a deep appreciation for Caribbean culture.
