In Faith Erin Hicks‘s graphic adventure novel, The Nameless City, two unlikely friends hold the fate of the Nameless City in their hands. Eddie Pittman’s Red’s Planet is an intergalactic graphic novel for children that follows the adventures of Red, a headstrong ten year-old girl, who is mistakenly kidnapped by aliens and transported across the galaxy. Robert Venditti’s novel for children, Rise of the Robots, the second book in the Miles Taylor and the Golden Cape series, is about an eighth grader who finds himself unexpectedly thrust into the role of real-life superhero; his latest mission: to defeat an army of robots designed to destroy him!
