Lupita Eyde-Tucker
LUPITA EYDE-TUCKER is a poet and literary translator from New Jersey and Guayaquil, Ecuador. She holds an MFA in creative writing – poetry from the University of Florida and has received fellowships and institutional support from Vermont Studio Center, Poesiaeuropa, and Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference. Her poems have appeared in Pleiades, Harbor Review, Best New Poets, Poem-a-Day, The Cortland Review, Ninth Letter, MER, and Third Coast. Her English translation of Oriette D'Angelo's poetry collection Homeland of Swarms (Co-Im-Press) was a finalist for the 2025 PEN Award for Poetry in Translation and won the 2024 Florida Book Awards Bronze Medal in Poetry.
