Bill Kartalopoulos is a Brooklyn-based comics critic, educator, curator and editor. He is the Series Editor for the Best American Comics series published by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. He currently teaches Comics History in the MFA Visual Narrative program at SVA and has developed and taught courses on the graphic novel, comics history, and the history of Illustration at Parsons the New School for Design. He has written about comics for venues including Publishers Weekly, Print Magazine, the Huffington Post, the Brooklyn Rail, World Literature Today, American Book Review, Collection Revue, Kaboom, Artenol, and others.
