(Mickelson, Robert) Robert Mickelson is an award winning Canadian independent feature and television producer and director. Among his many feature films are Hard Choices, which premiered at Sundance and was on numerous top ten lists; Prayer of the Rollerboys, starring Patricia Arquette, a Sci-Fi cult classic, which was nominated for a Saturn Award; Pros & Cons, a winner at the Aspen Comedy Film Festival; and Traveller, starring Mark Wahlberg and Bill Paxton, which premiered at South by Southwest. He also directed and produced the comedy Off The Lip featuring Adam Scott, which the LA Times called “The Spinal Tap of surf movies.” He is a producer of The Man Who Invented Christmas, directed by Bharat Nalluri, starring Dan Stevens and Academy Award-winner Christopher Plummer. The movie is set for a Thanksgiving 2017 worldwide release. Mickelson is currently in pre-production on his rock ‘n roll thriller, I Just Stopped By To See The Man, written by award-winning English playwright Stephen Jeffreys.
