EUGENIA BONE is a food and nature writer whose work has appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Food & Wine, and BBC Science Focus Magazine. A former president of the New York Mycological Society and the author of Mycophilia: Revelations from the Weird World of Mushrooms (Rodale Books), Bone appeared as an expert in the documentary Fantastic Fungi and has deep ties throughout the mushroom community. She is also an award-nominated cookbook author and chef. She lives in New York City.
