DANIEL HANDLER is the author of seven works of fiction – including Why We Broke Up: A Novel (Little, Brown Books for Young Readers), All The Dirty Parts: A Novel (Bloomsbury USA), and Bottle Grove: A Novel (Bloomsbury Publishing) – and most recently the memoir And Then? And Then? What Else? (Liveright). As Lemony Snicket, he has written many children’s books, including Poison for Breakfast (Liveright); the four-volume All The Wrong Questions (Little, Brown Books for Young Readers); and the 13-volume A Series of Unfortunate Events (Egmont), which was adapted for screen and television. He lives in San Francisco with his wife, the illustrator Lisa Brown.
