Miami Book Fair is partnering with Books & Books and the Miami-Dade Public Library System to celebrate books and their impact in our community through an interactive reading challenge!
Miami Reads is a communitywide program that encourages residents of the Magic City to read and interact more with books and their authors before the annual Miami Book Fair during Miami Book Month in November. Participants can sign up for the challenge online or at participating MDPLS and Books & Books locations. The challenge will run through October and participants will be prompted to read books, listen to “The Literary Life,” and stream presentations on Miami Book Fair Online in order to be eligible for prizes.
Join the challenge by entering your email below to get started!

Miami Reads promotes reading and promotes intellectual discourse in the community. The program is open to people of all ages and reading levels, and includes a wide range of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry books; podcasts; and online presentations to choose from. Throughout the challenge, participants are encouraged to share their progress and book recommendations with others through social media and join the discussion on the Miami Reads Discord channel. At the end of the challenge, we will send FREE Miami Book Fair tickets to participants and announce the winners of the various prizes on Discord and social networks.
* No purchase necessary to participate. Miami Book Fair Online programs are free to stream. “Literary Life” podcasts are free and available on LitHub.com. Books by promoted authors may be available at your local public library or through their mobile Libby by Overdrive app. Listening to an audiobook qualifies as reading for this promotion.
