Miami Book Fair’s Speak Up Program Presents THE MOTH SUMMER STORYTELLING LAB

THE PROGRAM
Miami Book Fair’s Speak Up meets The Moth Story Lab for a weekly virtual workshop series for 10-12 grade students. The Moth Story Lab workshop teaches the art and craft of true, personal storytelling (including games, brainstorming, and story crafting) and culminates in a final share. You must be able to be there for all 7 sessions. It’s a wonderful opportunity for students to develop and share a story about their lives, friends, the family dinner table, or even can even serve as a starting point for a college essay. No previous storytelling, writing, or performance experience necessary.

June 18, 25, July 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30

Free to apply. Application required.
ELIGIBILITY
- Must be a rising 10th – 12th grader in South Florida.
- Must be able to attend all 7 sessions.
