Manuscript Consultations with Eleanor Jackson

Various times, as appointed. All appointment times in EST. Consultations are limited to 30 people.
Meet with an experienced literary agent for a 15-minute individual manuscript consultation. You will have an opportunity to submit a query letter plus 10 pages of a manuscript in advance.
Once you have registered online, please email your 1-page query letter and 10-page manuscript to Madison Whatley at email@example.com by 11:59 p.m. EST on Friday, May 6, 2022.
Genres Accepted: Adult Fiction and Adult Narrative Non-Fiction (No prescriptive, art, cookbooks etc.)
Manuscripts must be a max of 10 double-spaced pages plus query letter, formatted as follows:
- Must include a query letter.
- Formatting: Please submit your sample material double-spaced in Times New Roman 12-pt font, and include page numbers.
- Include your name and email in the header of each page.
- Files must be in .DOC, .DOCX, or .PDF
Please submit materials by Friday, May 6.
*Manuscript consultation fees are not reading fees and do not go to the agent; rather, they support the programs and initiatives of Miami Book Fair.
Eleanor Jackson began her publishing career in 2002 at Witherspoon Associates, which became InkWell Management, and was a literary agent at InkWell Management and Markson Thoma Literary Agency before becoming an agent at Dunow, Carlson & Lerner. Her list includes bestselling and award-winning authors of fiction and nonfiction in a wide range of categories, including David Wroblewski (The Story of Edgar Sawtelle,) Susan Straight (Mecca,) Paul R. Ehrlich (Life,) Susie Steiner, (Missing, Presumed) Hallie Rubenhold, (The Five) and Tanaz Bhathena (Rising Like a Storm). She has a B.A. in English and Art History from Colby College and lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two sons.
