Creative Writing Workshop: Revision and Fiction with Felipe Bomeny
4 Wednesdays: June 4, 11, 18, 25, 2025
7:00 – 9:00 p.m. (2 hours) / In-Person
Revision can take on many shapes and lead us to unexpected places. In this workshop, we will consider different strategies for revision—both on the line level and more globally. Working through prompts, generative exercises, and short readings, we will consider audience, context, pacing, and the possibilities of revision.
Across our four sessions, we will also consider how to incorporate revision into a wider writing practice beyond the classroom. This workshop is open to all fiction writers. Whether you are working on a finished story or novel chapter, or are still in the early stages of a new project, there will be opportunities to both revise work in progress and generate new writing in class.
