Dear Miami Dade College family,
Miami Book Fair was founded by Miami Dade College President Dr. Eduardo J. Padron and community partners in 1984, and has been taking place at the Wolfson Campus ever since.
Nationally recognized as the most important book festival in the U.S., this year’s Fair takes place November 11-18; with Street Fair weekend at the end, November 16-18.
This downloadable, searchable excel database represents a list of all of the authors coming to Miami Book Fair 2018 as of August 17.
You will find author names, book titles, genre, and some areas of interest under which the books fall; for example, books on environmental issues or technology.
This list should help professors and others at MDC plan the fall semester so that students can take advantage of the cultural and academic enrichment that the Miami Book Fair represents.
Miami Book Fair’s program is now being finalized and very soon we will have a schedule detailing time and date for every author. We will make sure to alert you so that you may check out our website and assign your students to attend specific author events.
For general information about the Fair, please visit miamibookfair.com. Remember, students, faculty and staff of MDC with valid I.D. can attend the Street Fair without paying admission. Evening With author presentations and other special events may have a nominal ticket fee.
If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch any time.
