Johanna Lawshea

Rigoberto González is a Chicano gay author of sixteen books, including Unpeopled Eden, which won the Lambda Literary Award and the Leonore Marshall Prize from the Academy of American Poets. He has also earned Guggenheim and NEA fellowships; the Shelley Memorial Award from the Poetry Society of America; the Poetry Center Book Award; and most recently the 2015 Bill Whitehead Award for Lifetime Achievement from the Publishing Triangle. His book Our Lady of the Crossword explores queer identity in Mexico, the US, and the borderland between the two countries.
