Miami Book Fair International (MBFI) is a highly respected event that leaves a positive, lasting impression among sponsors, authors, and attendees alike.  The reception to the programs; the increased numbers of participants and attendees every year; and the increase and enthusiastic tone of coverage from local, domestic and international media are evidence that the Miami Book Fair International is, and will continue to be, recognized as the premier literary event of its kind in the United States, and one of the most important literary events in the world.

MBFI celebrated its 25th Anniversary last year, and offered new components to the event in addition to those that have become synonymous with the Book Fair – Children’s Alley, International Village, Festival of Authors, IberoAmerican Program, Street Fair, Write Out Loud Café, and the Evenings With… Series.  The 2008 Fair welcomed an early opening for the International Village, which celebrated it’s inaugural on the first Sunday, rather than Thursday, increasing its visibility, the new Comix Galaxy that explored the world of graphic novels and comic books, the Teen Scene where teens and “tweens” could delve into literature for their generation, and an ambitious “Greening of the Fair” project.  For 2009, we plan to continue to offer many opportunities for sponsor participation – both familiar and new – at many different levels.

MBFI is pleased to provide three ways for you to support the 2009 Book Fair: Corporate Sponsorship, Membership in “Friends of the Fair”, and Advertising.
