Library Mouse: A Museum Adventure (Abrams Books for Young Readers, $16.95) is the latest in the popular children’s series, written and illustrated by Daniel Kirk. Sam and his friend Sarah leave the museum so Sam can make sketches in the explorer’s journal. As they explore another museum, they see all kinds of art and even make friends with another artist. Kirk has written and illustrated a number of bestselling books for children. Booklist praised his Library Mouse series as “A showstopper.”
