Author(s) and Guest(s)

Sandra Balzo

Sandra Balzo's, Running on Empty (Main Street Mysteries) (Severn House, 27.95), is the first in a new series by the author of the Maggy Thorsen mysteries.  It's Labor Day weekend in small-town Sutherton, North Carolina, and the traditional picnic is in full swing.  But people are dying in uncommon historical numbers. AnnaLise must figure out why before her mother becomes the next victim.  Sandra Balzo's appearance is cancelled.

Deborah Sharp

In Mama Sees Stars:  A Mace Bauer Mystery (Midnight Ink, $14.95), by Deborah Sharp, Hollywood descends on little Himmarshee, Florida, where Mace discovers the executive producer strung up at the horse corral---dead.  Who wanted him that way?  Most everybody.  A former reporter for USA Today, Sharp is the author of three other Mace Bauer mysteries.

Joanna Campbell Slan

Make, Take, Murder (Midnight Ink, $14.95) is Joanna Campbell Slan's fourth novel, in which amateur sleuth/scrap booker Kiki Lowenstein tackles a case of domestic violence.  Slan is the author of the Kiki Lowenstein Scrap-N-Craft Mysteries, and has also written several nonfiction books on scrapbooking techniques.
