Author(s) and Guest(s)

Jeffrey Siger

Jeffrey Siger gave up his career as a name partner in a New York City law firm to move to Mykonos and write fast-paced mystery thrillers aimed at exploring serious societal issues confronting modern day Greece while touching upon its ancient past.

Neil Plakcy

Sharon Potts

Sharon Potts's thriller, Someone's Watching (Oceanview Publishing, $25.95), is set in South Beach, where the disappearance of two teenage girls leads a woman to search for a cold-blooded killer, one of whom is a sister she never knew existed.  Potts is the author of In Their Blood.

Ian Vasquez

Ian Vasquez's noir novel, Mr. Hooligan (Minotaur Books, $25.99) is set in Belize, where Riley is trying his best to go straight as a bar owner, but a freak car accident draws him back into the drug-running world and leads to him speaking the words you never want to hear from someone you like: “If I can just do one last job.” Vasquez is the author of the crime novels, In the Heat and Lonesome point.

The ninth edition of Tigertail's annual poetry publication, Tigertail, A South Florida Annual:  Florida Flash (Tigertail, $15.00), edited by Lynne Barrett, moves into prose to explore the edges and overlaps between lyrical and narrative approaches. Fifty-four authors with connections to Florida contribute prose poetry, flash fiction, and flash nonfiction—all limited to 305 words—a number representing the original South Florida area code as well as the limits of a single page.
