Dave Barry

Pulitzer Prize-winning humorist Dave Barry and Thurber Prize-winner (for American Humor) Alan Aweibel join forces and results are mayhem.  In Lunatics:  A Novel (Putnam, $25.95), two New Jersey suburban dads’ worlds collide in a swiftly escalating series of events that will send them running for their lives, pursued by the police, soldiers, terrorists, subversives, bears, and a man dressed as Chuck E. Cheese. “. . . what one would expect from two award-winning humorists: an outrageously funny, irreverent, over-the-top comic mystery.”—The Miami Herald.  For 25 years Barry was a syndicated columnist whose work appeared in more than 500 newspapers in the United States and abroad. Zweibel is a comedy writer originally with Saturday Night Live.
