The Cuban experience over the last 60 years is subject of more than 30 essays from renowned historians, journalists, and media professionals in Cubans: An Epic Journey, the Struggle of Exiles for Truth and Freedom (Reedy Press, $27.99).  The essays and photos reveal the complex interrelationships among the Cuban people, their homeland, the exile community, and American government and society. Louise O’Brien is a graduate of Harvard Business School and has served on the executive committee for two Fortune 500 companies.  She has also served as a contributing author at Harvard Business Review and a partner at Bain & Company Strategy Consultancy.

 

Guillermo Martinez

The Cuban experience over the last 60 years is subject of more than 30 essays from renowned historians, journalists, and media professionals in Cubans: An Epic Journey, the Struggle of Exiles for Truth and Freedom (Reedy Press, $27.99).  The essays and photos reveal the complex interrelationships among the Cuban people, their homeland, the exile community, and American government and society.  Guillermo Martinez has been a radio, newspaper, and television journalist for half a century. He was a member of The Miami Herald’s Editorial Board and a Sr. VP of News at Univisión, the largest Spanish language network. He is also a syndicated columnist for the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

 

Cesar Pizarro

Cesar Pizarro is an early pioneer of Hispanic marketing who was instrumental in the launch of the Spanish language daily El Nuevo Herald. He is recognized as a Hispanic market expert and over the years has conducted many professional conferences, in the United States as well as South America.

 

Sam Verdeja

Myriam Marquez

As an Assistant City Editor she coordinated coverage of South Florida's Latin American and Caribbean communities.  Myriam knows South Florida -- she is a graduate of Miami Senior High and Miami-Dade Community College.
