Rosalind Brackenbury

In Rosalind Brackenbury's novel, Becoming George Sand (Houthton Mifflin Harcourt, $14.95), a schoolteacher in a life-changing romance asks the question:  Is it possible to love two men at once?  For guidance, she turns to George Sand, the maverick French novelist who took many lovers. Immersing herself in the life of this revolutionary woman, she struggles with the complex choices women make. Brackenbury is the author of twelve novels, five books of poetry, and a collection of short stories.
