Katie Chaple
The poems in Katie Chaple’s debut collection, Pretty Little Rooms (Press 53, $12.00), are dynamic, and demonstrate the poet’s penchant for the odd detail, the interesting story and the fallout of it all. Poet Thomas Lux says Chaple’s “poems are highly intelligent and her imagination is prodigious,” something which the subject matter of the poems alone bears out.
