David Kirby

David Kirby is the author of The Temple Gate Called Beautiful (Alice James Books), plus several other volumes of poetry and essays. The House on Boulevard St.: New and Selected Poems was nominated for the 2007 National Book Award in poetry. Married to the poet Barbara Hamby, he lives in Tallahassee and teaches at Florida State University, where he is the Robert O.
