Ann Bannon

Originally published in 1957, Odd Girl Out (Cleis Press, $14.95), by Ann Bannon, begins the saga of Laura, appallingly shy and terminally polite — until she meets the brash Beth.  "Sex.  Sleaze. Depravity.  Oh, the twisted passions of the twilight world . . . ," says the Chicago Free Press.  Bannon, called "The Queen of Lesbian Pulp Fiction," published a series of smoldering novels in the pre-Stonewall 50s and 60s.  Ann Bannon's appearance is cancelled.
